Since my last post Corbin has changed a lot! He can now roll over and roll back, he used to get stuck on his tummy... We would find him in his crib on his stomach mad as heck, grunting, with both arms and both legs in the air (like a belly flop would look if he was jumping into water). It was pretty comical actually :-)
Corbin is sitting like a champ, he only banged his head twice so far. Both for Mommy of course, once his forhead off the ottoman of the glider and second the back of his head on the floor when he flung his body backward in his excitement. My nurse friends can identify with me checking his neuro status and his sleep after each of these episodes... luckily these were just two of many bumps and bruises the guy will have in his lifetime.
The biggest news is TEETH! Corbin has two little toofers sticking out of his gums on the bottom... YAH! I am such a lucky Mom... my child is so well behaved and even tempered, he only cries when he is hungry and is almost always happy. I've been attributing his recent "crabbiness" (a little discontent/fussiness once or twice in the last month) to his 6 month shots. Looks like I was wrong, he was teething, I guess he's got a lot to teach me!
More pictures and video to come...

Water fun
Corbin found his feet! He recently had a growth spurt in length (instead of weight) and can finally see his legs sticking out from under his belly... Here he is in the bath tub playing with his new toys (his feet) instead of his ducks.
We had the chance to get away and enjoy some time at Chula Vista in Wisconsin Dells. Corbin loved the water (his expression says it all) and was completely exhausted after about an hour.
Dancin' Dancin'
Corbin shares his parents love of music. It turns out he's got the best rhythm out of the three of us! Watch him groove to Daddy's tunes.

Corbin 4-5 Months
My last post before I can just update daily happenings...

In December we started putting Corbin in his exersaucer... this new toy quickly became his favorite! He loves to move and groove in it and look at himself in the mirror (a boy after his father).
It's no secret how much time John spends in the bath tub. We thought it would be a good idea to get Corbin some sort of float toy for those evenings when Mommy is at work and Daddy wants to take a bath. Turns out Corbin shares his fathers love of the bath tub, check out these photos.
Corbin had to have surgery to drain a fluid collection in his scrotum (it sounds worse than it was). The surgeon took a look at his legs and said "this kid has biscuit poisoning". I think biscuit poisoning is another way to say your kid is FAT! So surgery is over and all is well but Corbin is still a chubby, chubby baby!

Corbin Months 1-3
In further effort to catch up the blog I am going to post a few "eventful" things that happened in Corbin's first 5 months...

We had all the normal firsts... first bath, first photo shoot and of course, the first time Mom and Dad got peed on.
Other firsts included our first road trip to MN to see Papa and Nana, our second road trip to ND to see Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Great Grandparents Zerr, and Daddy's first diaper change (notice this is farther down the "firsts" list than one would have expected, it happened on November 1st, that's right, when Corbin was almost 10 weeks old!).
Corbin was a pumpkin for Halloween and was too cute in his costume...
I started back to work just as Corbin was turning 3 months old so he had his first day at daycare too.

Catching up
I am going to attempt to cram the first five months of Corbin's life into a few posts...

Corbin Joseph Williams was born on August 25th, 2008 at 5:24 am weighing 7 pounds 6 ounces and meauring 19.5 inches. He made his Mommy suffer through 28... yes, that's right, 28, hours of labor before he entered the world... with help! Papa and Nana Zerr and Grandma Sandy were in the delivery room, and Daddy too of course.

We didn't have Corbin's name picked out before he was born, there were 3 names we had in mind. Something about a little smirk he had on his face helped us choose.

Before Corbin was born John said he wasn't going to cut the cord but when the time came he was all about it.

Blog challenged!
So... I created this blog before "Baby Williams" was born so I could keep everyone up to date on his accomplishments... turns out Mommy is blog challenged. All these months its taken me to figure out how to get a cute background, add pictures (currently there aren't any pictures of Corbin and he's the reason I created this blog in the first place) and maybe one day a video...
I hope I can keep up with this now that I figured it out, wish me luck!
