Baby Boy #2

Here are a few pics of the baby.  He looks perfect on ultrasound and we're excited to meet him in June.

Here is a picture of his little profile, I say he looks like Corbin.  John says I'm crazy.

This pic is a bit scary, he looks a bit alien.

3D of his face...

He's definitely a boy...

30th Birthday Surprise

John pulled off the most incredible surprise for my 30th birthday.  He planned, with the assistance of a few good friends, an amazing party.  I was in shock for the first 2 hours I'd say.  I couldn't believe he got this by me.  I am NOSY!  I like to know whats going on around me all the time.  How he managed to keep this from me I still don't know.  What I do know is I love birthdays and this was one for the record books.

A special thanks to John, Angela, Keith, Rachel and Genea.  The party wouldn't have been a success without all of your hard work!  Also, to my parents and Alicia for making the trek to WI.  And Sheila for the flowers that were not... I love you all!

My amazing birthday cake.  Yes, it's me sleeping... my favorite past time!

Who knew there was wine without alcohol?  Thanks Alicia!

John's idea of a funny shirt.  It says, "I'm not fat, I'm knocked up".

Cars

We should have known just by the grasp of his hands... he was going to be OBSESSED with this "moomie".  Corbin is enthralled with Cars.  From the moment he wakes up till he begrudgingly goes to bed (and sometimes when he wakes up at night) he wants to watch Cars.  I don't know why we didn't introduce this movie sooner but I'm glad we didn't!

Christmas

Here are a few shots of Corbin digging in his stocking and opening gifts.  This year was really fun watching him get so excited over whatever was inside the package.  Of course he wanted to play with whatever he opened making present opening last all together too long.  Lesson learned: less really is more!

Having fun little boy style

Some of my work friends got together with our kids at an indoor play area called Keva Sports.  Corbin got to play with all sorts of balls and bats, ring toss, bounce house and a jungle gym.  WITHOUT any coaxing from me he went for the soccer balls and started dribbling down the field.  I would love nothing more than for Corbin to play soccer like I did.  John, on the other hand, wants nothing to do with it.  Sorry to break it to you honey but I think this is our future!

I don't know how he got the idea to do this but one morning Corbin decided to make a little fort/hide out with the drawers and doors in the kitchen.  He kept himself entertained for about an hour playing hide and seek with me.

I never believed the people who told me kids don't need toys...

Decorating the tree

I was a little apprehensive about letting Corbin near my Christmas decorations this year.  Last year he was too small to care so I didn't have to worry.  Here we are going through my totes of ornaments and decorations.  Turns out little man didn't have too big a problem leaving the breakable things alone as long as I let him hang the other stuff.

Just one side note, we bought new LED lights this year.  If you know my husband he would NOT stand for the regular old lights of which we have um, approximately 12 boxes of... We had to buy new.  So, two trips to town and 720 lights later we had a lit tree (which besides the pic below I failed to take any photos of).

Annual Christmas Tree hunt

Last year we decided to try a tree farm in Janesville called Tannenbaum Acres.  We were very happy with the entire experience and have made it a Williams family tradition.  This year we brought Grandma Sandy along to take some family photos.  Here we are with our (ridiculously expensive but beautiful) tree.

Tannenbaum Acres is a family friendly place as you can see from the photo above.  Corbin got to help cut the bottom off of the tree and helped wrap it in netting too.

I think Corbin and Daddy had more fun petting and feeding the reindeer than finding the tree.  Regardless, we are planning to make more memories with Tannenbaum Acres in the years to come.
